Sandra Tostar

Founder of Tostar Consulting AB

Polymer engineer by training and holds a PhD in materials science from Chalmers University of Technology. Has worked with plastic material development for 20 years, recycled plastics for 15 years and circular business models for 9 years.

My ambition:

Below are examples of projects I have worked on previously.

Research project manager

Participated in several research projects at national and EU level. I have also been the main project leader for "Robust injection molding of vehicle components with low environmental impact" and in "Sustainable Vehicle Interior Solutions (SVIS)" I was one of two sub-project leaders on the industrial side.

Technical leader

Responsible for and driving the circular transition and implementation of recycled plastic and bio-based materials in the automotive industry. The work also included finding and running circular pilot projects where one company's waste became another company's raw material.

Speaker

Regularly invited as a speaker at national and international conferences, seminars, panel debates and training courses.
